Aarti Joshi

Aarti set up Coaching & Wellness company, Freedom & Joy with business partner Sharon Stephen in 2022. Their clients include Visibility Scotland, Emu Bands, Wandern Media, Salad, Aura Agency and many more. After being coached by The Handel Group, Aarti experienced first-hand the difference that being coached could make and trained as a Transformational Coach with Animas UK in 2021. She is a naturally curious and analytical person, who enjoys helping others find their joy and reach their goals.

As a Presenter, she fronts the Go Radio Sunday Session every Sunday evening, has hosted a stage at George Square during the UCI World Cycling Championships, produced and presented Out, Out! Podcast with STV’s Laura Boyd and chef/presenter Julie Lin, hosted a panel for Royal Bank Mentor Match programme and participated in panel discussions for Close the Gap, Vega, Royal Bank and Skiddle to name a few!

She is also the founder of one of Glasgow’s longest running alternative and women fronted club nights, Pretty Ugly as well as being current part time Head of Sales and Communications for SWG3.

As part of the Committee for Soho House Glasgow &  the Board of Sub Club’s Dazzle Initiative  - which is focussed on increasing diversity in the clubs/DJ scene in Scotland, Aarti is able to give her time to Scotland’s creative sector, which she is extremely passionate about.

Before her career pivot, Aarti previously led the DF Concerts & Events Marketing, Communications & Sponsorship team as well as being a member of the company's Senior Management Team. Day to day she oversaw Marketing Campaigns for the likes of T in the Park, The Papal Visit, Ryder Cup Gala Concert, TRNSMT Festival and Edinburgh & Glasgow Summer Sessions., managing budgets over £1 million.
