Patricia Fleming

Patricia Fleming is a Glasgow-based curator & gallerist whose career has helped shape Scotland’s contemporary art scene for more than three decades. She founded the pioneering Fuse studio initiative and Fly gallery, supporting hundreds of emerging artists and fostering Glasgow’s internationally recognised creative community. Fleming has curated major exhibitions, served as Curator at the Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow, and was the first curator representing Wales at the Venice Biennale in 2003. Today, she directs Patricia Fleming Gallery, championing ambitious contemporary practice, particularly by women artists, while promoting experimentation, collaboration and meaningful public engagement through exhibitions, commissions and attendance at international art fairs.
