Independent Consultant and Facilitator
Sam is an independent consultant and facilitator, supporting the needs, aspirations and potential of people and their cultural and/or third sector organisation(s).
She has a strong commitment to long-term sustainability, as well as the co-production of innovative solutions that amplify and accelerate the work of those she supports. In addition to her current role as Executive Director of Take Me Somewhere, Sam works as a consultant and associate of a number of the UK’s key cultural organisations exploring their Business Development and supporting the diversification of Fundraising activities.
She was previously the Deputy Director of Development for Impact Arts, The Interim Director for Lyth Arts and, as The Development Director, developed PAN into the Touring Network. She has also held Senior Positions within a number of Third Sector organisations including the Credit Union Network, The Human Rights Trust and The Advocacy Trust.
She has been an Open Fund assessor for Creative Scotland, a lecturer in Entrepreneurial Education and held non-executive positions within Federation of Scottish Theatre, the Poverty Alliance and Apparel Xchange.
She has a degree in Clothing Design & Manufacture and a Masters in Marketing.
